WWE RAW August 6 2012 results continued
He’s here to apologize to AJ for losing his temper and yelling at her last week and that’s what he does – the RAW GM does not deserve to be disrespected and he’s sorry. AJ accepts the apology. Punk tells her that every GM makes mistakes, just like she did when she put the WWE Champ into a triple threat where he doesn’t have to lose to lose the title. He wants her to call off the triple threat at Summerslam and the crowd chants no. AJ agrees that she’s new and she’s going to make mistakes, but the triple threat isn’t one of them. The match is still on. Punk thinks AJ is trying to get back at him for humiliating her when she got down on one knee. He tells her not to be the evil GM that stick it to the guy everyone loves. He doesn’t mind wrestling a singles match and asks for a new opponent.
Out comes John Cena. He says Punk has become one of those guys who comes out here demanding respect just because he wears the WWE title. He says respect isn’t demanded, it’s earned. We get a lengthy Let’s Go Cena/Cena Sucks chant. Cena has won the title 11 times and he still comes out here fighting every night. Punk would have only had one Summerslam opponent if he didn’t get involved in the main event last week. Punk says he didn’t become anything. Cena became the guy who turns a blind eye to facts. Punk just tells it like it is. He didn’t get involved in the main event last week, Cena just didn’t like his commentary. It was Cena that came flying onto him and put his hands on the WWE champion. Punk says he won’t be disrespected by anybody. He saved Cena’s life last week – even though he got Show on his shoulders, his knees were giving out and he was about to get flattened by the weight of a giant. Cena says Punk can harp about respect for a couple more weeks, because after Summerslam he may not be the champ anymore. Punk brings up beating Cena last year.
Cena’s about to retort as Show comes out. AJ tells everyone to stop because she won’t let things get out of hand. She tells Cena and Show to save their agression for their matches. Punk says he deserves a match two because the champion should be in the main event. AJ says that Punk has a match too – against an opponent of the WWE Universe’s choosing. It’s gonna be either The Miz, Kane or Rey Mysterio. Twitter voting starts now because the match is next.

We are told HBK is here tonight.
Del Rio makes his way to the ring, still taking his street clothes off. We see footage from last month of Del Rio pounding on Sheamus with the hood of his car.
Match 2: Alberto Del Rio vs Christian.
Del Rio gets the submission win with the armbar after a distraction by Ricardo
Sheamus shows up on the tron. He says he’s going to class up his act, starting with the car he drives. The camera zooms out to show Del Rio’s Ferrari. Sheamus tells Ricardo not to leave the keys in next time. He’s going to take it on a little sightseeing tour of San Antonio and take real good care of it. He then drives off in Del Rio’s car. Ricardo and Alberto are shocked and furious.
Match 3: Randy Orton vs Big Show
Double count-out after the action spills to the floor and both men are down after Randy sends Show skull first into the turnbuckle and Show hits Randy with a spear.
After the match, Show drags Orton back into the ring and tries to knock him out. Orton dodges the punch and hits an RKO.

Match 4: Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks vs Ryback. As Ryback makes his way to the ring, we have another split screen with him saying the WWE is where he feasts and Reks and Hawkins are about to get served.

Josh Matthews is backstage with Damien Sandow, asking him to explain his actions against Brodus Clay last week. Sandow says that as the intellectual savior and a martyr, he’s obligated to rid the WWE of any foolishness. Tonight he will dispose of Brodus Clay for the betterment of all of us. You’re welcome.
Brodus Clay and the Funkadactyls come out for the match, but he gets jumped from behind by Sandow. Sandow keeps working the left leg and leaves Clay laid out on the stage, yelling you’re welcome and that Brodus did that to himself.
Bryan is backstage with AJ. AJ says that even though the psychiatrist says Bryan is sane, she thinks he has some anger issue. Bryan says maybe that has something to do with her leaving him at the altar, but he’s calm now. He wants to commend AJ on her booking him against Cena tonight because after he beats him, she will have no choice but to make the match a four-way. AJ says he already has a match at Summerslam against Kane. Bryan gets up and says no. AJ gets up and says Yes. A yes/no exchange ensues and Bryan leaves pissed off.
March 6: Kelly Kelly vs Eve Torres
Kelly Kelly gets the win
Footage of Sheamus stealing Del Rio’s car.
Out comes HBK to a huge pop. Obligatory thanks to the WWE Universe before talking about how great RAW 1000 was. He says there was no way he was going to miss a RAW in San Antonio. He says he saw a lot of new faces backstage, but they’re all talking about the same thing – the clash between Trips and Lesnar at Summerslam and asking his opinion. Michaels gets interrupted by Lesnar and Heyman.
Heyman says it’s not surprising that everyone wants to know HBK’s opinion because he’s the greatest in-ring entertainer in the history of the WWE. They would have asked his opinion too, except for the fact that Lesnar isn’t an entertainer, he’s showing up as a fighter and he will once again prove that he’s the baddest *DUDE* on the planet. HBK says he’s not here to dispute the attributes of Brock Lesnar. He says Heyman went somewhere where no man should have gone – make it personal and attack Triple H’s family, turning him into something that he doesn’t even recognize. He’s going to state his opinion anyway – right now he’s going with Triple H and he believes it to the point of wanting to see it personally. He’s going to be in Triple H’s corner. Heyman says this is the moment everyone’s going to remember as the last great moment before Lesnar end Triple H’s career. Lesnar will not give Triple H that option. It’s bad enough that Triple H’s family has to witness it. Brock grabs the mic from Heyman and says the only reason Shawn thinks Triple H can beat Lesnar is because HBK has never been in the ring with Lesnar…until now. Lesnar starts closing in on Shawn as Triple H’s music hits.
Triple H gets in the ring as both him and HBK stare Lesnar down. Brock gets the mic again and tells Trips he’ll see him at Summerslam and he’ll see Michaels before then. Heyman and Lesnar go backstage.
Tout from Sheamus, who’s took Del Rio’s car to the Alamo.
Chris Jericho joins Cole and King at ringside for the next match. Cole tells him about the article on WWE.com saying that Ziggler and Jericho have a lot in common. Jericho says you can’t compare a 6-time World Champion with 22 years of experience under his belt to a guy who has 10…EXCUSE ME!!!!
Match 7: Dolph Ziggler vs Alberto Del Rio
Riley gets the win with a roll-up as Chris Jericho pulls out his phone and records Ziggler showing off on Tout.
Ziggler gets furious, Riley is trending on Twitter and Jericho is trolling Ziggler from ringside.
Tweet from AJ, booking Kane and Miz against each other tonight.
Another Tout from Sheamus, where he spills food all over the interior of Del Rio’s car.
Match 8: The Miz vs Kane
Kane gets the win with a chokeslam.
Matt Striker is backstage with a furious Daniel Bryan, saying Yes!Yes!Yes! is all over Twitter and Tout. Bryan barks at him to shut up and that he doesn’t want anyone chanting it. The crowd starts chanting yes, but he tells them to shut up and starts chanting No.
Sheamus is back at the parking lot with Del Rio’s car and it’s all dirty and smoking. Sheamus says that’s a great ride that definitely beats his mule back home. He apologizes to a staff member for the smell because Mexican food goes right through him and asks him to take care of it and not tell anyone.
Daniel Bryan makes his way to the ring, furious at the fans as usual. We then see Del Rio and Ricardo backstage with Del Rio’s car. Ricardo yells some gibberish in Spanish, Del Rio grabs him by the shirt and goes looking for Sheamus, leaving RR to clean up the mess. We’re back to Bryan in the ring on his knees covering his ears from the Yes chants.
Main Event: Daniel Bryan vs John Cena
Awesome finish as Bryan reverse the STF into a NoLock (new name), which Cena reverses into an AA for the win.
Out comes CM Punk and poses with the belt in front of Cena and Cena gestures that he’s going to win it. He then tosses Punk aside as Big Show runs in, gets out of a chokeslam and picks Show up for the AA, but Punk pushes them both down. Punk then goes to Lawler and Cole at ringside, puts on a headset and says maybe Cena has a point. Maybe it’s Punk’s fault he’s in the triple threat, maybe it’s his fault he’s being disrespected because he lets people disrespect him. From now on he does what he does best, end WWE RAW with him clutching the title and anyone who disrespects him will end up on the mat, just like Show and Cena. He then goes for a roundhouse on Show, but he blocks it and knocks Punk out. Cena meets the same fate as he gets up. Show stands over them with the belt as WWE RAW goes off the air.
