WWF Steel Cage Challenge was the first wrestling game to have the iconic steel cage, but that’s where the positives end. The 10-man roster shared a total of 5 or 6 moves, which meant every character played the same way.

It’s a boring pattern of punches and kicks that grows tiresome almost instantly and you pretty much have to guess when you’ve inflicted enough damage to pin the opponent. It somehow managed to be worse than the games that came before it, with the introduction of the cage being the only redeeming factor to point to.
