10 Crazy Stories About Ric Flair

One of the most infamous backstage stories in WWE history was the “Plane Ride From Hell” on May 5th 2002. The WWE crew, including both the wrestlers and TV crew, were returning from the UK after filming the Insurrexion PPV in London. Vince McMahon rented out a whole Boeing 747 just for them with an open bar, which ended up causing a lot of trouble.

Scott Hall passed out after making sexual advnaces at the flight attendants, Brock Lesnar and Mr Pefect turned a friendly takedown match into a legitimate brawl, Goldust was yelling all kinds of profanities over the PA system and Mike Hayes ended up knocked out by JBL after taking a swing at him while he was asleep. The star of the show (and the subsequent lawsuit by the flight attendants) was Ric Flair. Let Sean Waltman and Justin Credible tell you the story…

WALTMAN:

“Then fuckin’ Flair comes out in his robe…”

CREDIBLE:

“…nothing on underneath…”

WALTMAN:

“…fuckin’ balls naked, struttin’ down the aisleway…”

CREDIBLE:

“Sixty-year-old man, junk flying everywhere. Going up to the stewardesses, ‘C’mon sweetheart! [flashes open robe] ‘WOOOOO!!!’”
